OG&E is deploying a team of 100 line restoration crew members to Georgia to help restore power as Hurricane Helene impacts the southeast coast.

Crews from here in Green Country are headed to Georgia to help with disaster recovery on Thursday. Hurricane Helene, now a category three hurricane, hit Florida on Thursday and is now also affecting Georgia.

Forecasters expect Hurricane Helene to cause power outages in Georgia as it moves further inland. A utility company sent a fleet of trucks and crews.
