One of the Blue Jackets' biggest unresolved issues thus far is having veterans break from the Jackets' simplistic identity while trying to force plays in bad spots. It often leads to turnovers, scoring chances and goals allowed, which the Blue Jackets’ staff now has new examples to show in their next video session.

Lucas Condotta made it 3-1 at 11:04 of the third period when he snapped a one-timer from the inside edge of the left face-off circle on a pass from Armia. It was his first goal in five games since he was recalled from Laval of the American Hockey League on Nov. 6.

Nick Suzuki’s second-period goal held up as the winner in the Montreal Canadiens’ 5-1 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday night.
