Former lottery pick Jahlil Okafor has agreed to a training camp deal with the Indiana Pacers, per Shams Charania. Okafor last played in the NBA during the 2020-21 season, where he appeared in 27 games for the Detroit Pistons.

Okafor is another candidate to fill the No. 3 center spot for the Pacers behind Myles Turner and Isaiah Jackson, though he’d likely start the season with the G-League Mad Ants.

The Pacers watched some basketball workouts from forward/center Jahlil Okafor before deciding to sign him, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. Okafor is signing a deal for training camp with a shot to make the standard roster.
