Cubs, Reds close season after falling short of expectations
Two teams that failed to live up to preseason expectations will close their seasons on Sunday afternoon. After the Chicago Cubs host the Cincinnati Reds in the finale of their three-game series, both organizations undoubtedly will face another long offseason trying to patch the holes that prevented each from reaching the postseason.
