The auto major's plant, which entails an investment of Rs 9,000 crore would produce next generation vehicles for both Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), the British arm of the car maker, the company said.

The new Tamil Nadu plant, with an annual production capacity of 2,50,000 units, will produce Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover cars for Indian and international markets.

The unit, which entails an investment of ₹9,000 crore, will produce next-generation vehicles for Tata Motors and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). It will cater to requirements of both Indian and international markets.
