The last time Brazil met Uruguay they lost to them on penalty kicks in the Copa America quarterfinals after a 0-0 draw. Brazil know a win would move them above Uruguay in the table. Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay sit second in the standings behind Argentina after their dramatic 3-2 win against Colombia last time out.

Still, they are heavily favored to beat Peru and with seven games to go in qualifying they are looking extremely comfortable to grab one of the six automatic qualification spots. That said, Argentina have won just one of their last four World Cup qualifiers to allow the chasing pack to gain ground.
